Last Thursday(Jan. 16th) , we held a Disaster Prevention workshop for the students of Thursday Japanese Language class.
We learned about hazard maps and disaster prevention supplies.
At the end, we played disaster prevention Karuta.

I was surprised that the students were able to pick up cards quickly even though all the cards were in Japanese.
After the workshop, babies and small children joined in, enjoying a Kamishibai storytelling show and learning English with Ms. Maki.
