On the evening of July 15th, on the second floor of the Chigasaki City Youth Hall, as part of IAC’s annual homestay program that accepts college students to spend about one month in Chigasaki in July, the association held a welcome party for 6 students from France.
Also gathered at the welcome party were IAC members and family members of the host families. After a welcoming from the director and an introduction of the students and host families, conversation kicked off with a toast from the host family representative.
Once again this year, during the chatting, a sword fight was held on stage for entertainment. The students and the host families’ children were also able to participate, have fun and try it out for themselves.
After that, as is customary, students were given a T-shirt designed by IAC as a gift, and there was a commemorative photo shoot. Finally, with a show of the songs they enjoy by the students, the welcome party ended on a lively note.
