Friday, 25 June 2021, International Association of Chigasaki is holding a film screening. We are showing a Macedonian documentary film “Honeyland” celebrating the Host Town registration between the Republic of North Macedonia and Chigasaki City. The matinee includes greetings from Ms. Kristina Stojchevska, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Japan.
“Honeyland” received two nominations at the Academy Awards in the categories for Best Documentary Feature and Best International Feature Film. It is the first film ever, in the history of the Oscars, nominated in both categories. The film was released at cinemas in Japan last year but it is not playing anymore. Did you miss it?
