French students visit Tsurumine High School (2018-07-11)

Date: July 11, 2018, 10:00 – 15:00

Seven French university students and two IAC staff members visited Tsurumine High School.
Three students gathered at the back of the Kinro Kaikan and went by car, and four students went by bicycle to the school.  The activities were as follows.

8:15: Teacher Mr. K in charge of the audio-visual classroom explained the schedule, etc.
8: 30: Students were introduced to teachers at the principal’s office
8: 50 ~: Students participated in Communication English 3class
9: 45 ~: Students participated in Art class
10: 40 ~: Students participated in Communicative English 2 class
11: 35 ~: Students participated in Communication English 1 class
12: 30 ~ 13: 30: Students had a luncheon meeting with the first-year international exchange group of Tsurumine High school at the audio-visual room.
13: 30 ~ 15: 00: 2 female students experienced Flower Arrangement in the South Movie Room, and 5 male students experienced Kendo in the Budo Area.
(There was a comment that girls also wanted to experience Kendo in the following questionnaire.)

At the luncheon meeting in the audio-visual room from 12:30, Tsurumine High School students ate lunch box (Bento) and the French students ate sandwiches, rice balls and apples prepared by the staff, and they enjoyed conversations with together. After 3 PM, the students returned to their host family home by bus or bicycle.
