FY2016 regular general meeting and exchange meeting   FY 2016 Regular general meeting was held on June 4 (Saturday) at the Community Hall in Chigasaki City Hall branch office with the attendance of Mayor Hattori and Mr. Takiguchi City Council Vice Chairman. 51 people attended and 119 people have been submitted letters of proxy.

The chief director Mr. Ishii declared the opening of the meeting at first. Followed by that, two of guests stated greetings. Then Mr. Higuchi was appointed as a chairman, Ms. Ohashi and Ms. Yokobori was appointed as minute takers. The FY2015 activity report, financial statements, FY2016 plan and budget were approved. Although a variety of opinion has been issued, the revision of the rule for the first time in 13 years has been approved by a majority.

Regarding to the re-election of officers as the last agenda, 20 candidates of directors including corporate director and two auditors, who had been recommended by the board of directors, were introduced from the chief director. All of them were approved then. As the new chief director, Mr. Hiroshi Nomura was introduced and approved. Tne new chief director Mr. Nomura introduced sub-chief director and bureau chief. Followed by that, there was a description of future activities policy.

After the General Assembly, Ms. Okada as a director of the Nepalese children education support reported with pictures that show post-Earthquake situation in Nepal by the visit to Nepal with members of the Lalupate Association in November last year.

Finally, many members participated in an exchange meeting at the same venue where round-table chats were held.
