On March 8th, the Kids Events Group participated in the "Tsurumine
Community Hall Festival"
|

At the festival, the children colored styrofoam Easter eggs to celebrate
the arrival of Spring. The eggs were decorated with ribbons and beads.
Some of the eggs the children created were adorned with moving eyes demonstrating
individual creativity.
Also, a game was made of some eggs on a white board. Guess the correct
number and the winner gets a chololate egg. The children had to think very
seriously.
The festival lasted about 2 hours. The children happily participated and
a fun spring day was had by all.

What the day of Easter means? Easter is a Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ following his crucifiction on the cross.
Regardless of your religious beliefs, Easter is a popular time of the year to celebrate the arrival of Spring.
Spring time the flowers bloom here and there, a new breath swells in trees,
and season of life begins. Eggs can be seen as a symbol of life as can
the Easter eggs that are colorfully decorated by the children. Some commonly
played games at Easter are "Easter Egg Hunts" (children searching
for hidden eggs) and "Egg races" (a running race with egg in
spoon).
Easter is celebrated on the Sunday of the first full moon after the vernal
equinox. Therefore the date can change from year to year. This year Easter
is April 5th, 2015. |
