The 17th annual Japanese speech convention for foreigners was held * Date & Time: Sunday, March 23rd  13:30-16:00 * Location: Chigasaki City Hall, 6th floor Community Center  11 foreigners spoke, in fluent Japanese, to an entertained audience about their home cities, their hobbies, their favorite Japanese food and friends made while living in Chigasaki.  Members of the IAC and public relations people were blessed with a beautiful day and a long applause from the audience.   After completion of the speeches,  the audience voted for the most Popular Speech award. Then we had Mrs. Harutai Kashiwabara (Thailand), who won Chairman of the Board of Directors prize last year,make a guest speech to Miss Chen Enshi(陳恩施) who won the Tokai University foreign student speech convention prize for an excellent speech last December.       Special speech “Hospitality of Japan” presented by Mirs. Harutai Kashiwabara (Thailand) Guest speech “Life Without Regret” was presented by Miss.
